Newport High School Junior Academy deliver a nutritional presentation to the 2017-18 squad. Luke Laner (head strength and conditioning coach) outlines the key fundamentals of nutrition and sets some principles for the key basics expected of the squad.

Tony Yapp kKcking Master Class with the Newport High Junior Academy

Tony Yapp was a professional rugby player for 12 seasons and is a RFU Level 3 coach, His playing career included Bedford, Worcester, Randwick (Aus) Exeter Chiefs, Launceston and now Taunton Titans. During his career Tony has also represented England U21’s England A and the Barbarians.

 

Tony is known for his outstanding all round kicking game and has found Dave’s methods invaluable adding to his distinguished Career.

 

During his Exeter Chiefs career alone Tony made 173 appearances scoring 1800 points.

To date Tony has scored over 3000 Premiership National league and cup competition points.

Tony is currently Head Coach of the Taunton Titans, Head Coach at Exeter University and Director of Rugby Performance & Player Development at Blundell’s School.

 

With the support and mentoring of Dave Alred PhD MBE Tony Yapp and Stuart Alred aim to deliver world class kicking coaching to all age groups and teams around the world.
